WHY THIS WORK MATTERS
Misinformation Has Consequences
Transgender youth face some of the highest rates of depression and suicidal ideation of any group in America. The misinformation surrounding their lives is not just wrong — it is dangerous. Rachael's mission is simple: replace the lies with the truth, one audience at a time.

FIGHTING MISINFORMATION
The Claims Are Loud. The Truth Is Louder.
From school board meetings to social media, false claims about transgender people have become commonplace. Rachael addresses these claims directly, replacing them with verified medical and legal facts.
"Children are getting sex-change operations at their schools."
THE TRUTH
This is false. Under U.S. law, gender confirmation surgery is not available to anyone under 18. It does not happen in schools. It is not legal.
"Transgender people are mentally ill."
THE TRUTH
The DSM-5 explicitly states that gender non-conformity — including being transgender — is not a mental disorder. The person is not ill.
"Transgender girls have a genetic advantage in girls' sports."
THE TRUTH
When transgender girls are receiving hormone blockers, their physical development is no different from cisgender girls. The data does not support this claim.
